Currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Team Leader to work within a well-established forging company who specialise in the aerospace and power generation industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support Maintenance Manager in pursuing business objectives in terms of output, quality and cost.
- To supervise maintenance activities on a day to day basis to support operational departments to ensure maximum up-time, efficiency and sales throughput in a cost effective manner.
- To ensure all team members work in a safe manner adhering to all health and safety requirements.
- To maintain and improve productivity so that production schedules and customer needs are met.
- To ensure the preventative maintenance schedule is fit for purpose and is adhered to, particularly for all equipment.
- To identify, develop and implement continuous improvement activities with your teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience of leading a team is essential as well as a mechanical bias
- Basic financial awareness
- PC literate
- Good level of verbal and written skills
