Maintenance Electrician

Derbyshire – Peak District

C£24k (Double shift Pattern 6-2, 2-10)

 

Our client is a manufacturing company based in North Derbyshire in the Peak Distrct looking to expand their electrical maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where full training and development and support will be provided – working in a fast paced and busy working environment.

 

Ensuring machinery and production equipment works efficiently, performing refurbishments, overhauling, electro-fitting and implementing works the main duties will include:

 

  • Fault finding and breakdown repairs
  • Installations and fitting of new machinery
  • Servicing and maintaining wiring, power equipment, machinery and production equipment
  • Experience of AC/DC Motor drive systems
  • Experience of PLC’s would be a distinct advantage
  • Maintaining other electrical equipment – building services etc.
  • Making new electrical fittings for production equipment
  • Maintaining accurate data records and details of projects undertaken
  • Following health and safety protocols – ensuring everyone including yourself is fully protected – clothing etc
  • Obeying regulations and procedures of ISO and HACCP Practices
  • Other duties reasonably expected in such a position

 

The role is working 40 hours per week on a 2 shift pattern (running 6-2 and 2-10 rotating every 2 weeks).

 

They are specifically looking for experience of working within a high speed manufacturing environment on high speed machinery

 

You will be apprentice trained or city and guilds qualified as a minimum and will hold 16th or 17th edition regs – ideally you will be hnc qualified or above.

 

Full training is provided through an internal training scheme.
